Brave Heart Wellbeing provides counselling services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples at all ages and stages of life.

From the challenges of parenting, schooling or mental health struggles to coping with loss, our trained and caring psychologists are great listeners who can provide non-judgemental support – no matter what you or your family are experiencing.

WE OFFER: Anxiety Counselling, Depression Counselling, Youth Counselling, Adult Counselling, Blended Family Counselling, Relationship Counselling and FIFO Counselling - just to name a few!

  • Our experience in Cognitive Behavourial Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy are just some of the interventions integrated into the sessions. It is our goal to respect your privacy and choices and support you in identifying how to manage your challenges.

    Referrals to Brave Heart Wellbeing psychological services can be made through:

    • Individual contact– you can call to schedule an appointment. The current rate for Psychological Services is:
      FROM $220.00 per session (45 minutes)

    • Referral from a GP– you can access this service through a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), which must be completed by your GP. This will entitle you up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Services provided through a MHCP provide you with a rebate of $96.65. These rebates are regulated by Medicare and the Federal Government and may be subject to change. If attending on the basis of MHCP following the first 6 sessions your GP can recommend a further 4 sessions.

    Please note: If all 10 sessions have been used for the calendar year, you may be eligible for the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) through your GP.

  • Cancellation Policy: Please note appointments can be cancelled / rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    If less than 24 hours you will be charged the full rate of service.
