PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS
AT BRAVE HEART WELLBEING

Helping young people build confidence, resilience, emotional awareness and stronger coping skills through movement, connection and practical mental health education.

At Brave Heart Wellbeing, the Standing Strong Program is designed to support young people in understanding themselves, building emotional resilience, and developing practical strategies they can use in everyday life.

Our program combines movement, conversation, reflection and mindfulness in a safe, supportive and engaging group environment where participants are encouraged to explore challenges, build confidence and recognise their strengths.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Standing Strong runs during the school term:

  • Begins Week 2 of each school term 

  • Finishes Week 9 

  • 8-week program 

  • Sessions run from 5:00pm – 6:00pm 

  • Group sizes are intentionally kept smaller to support connection, participation and individual engagement.

WHAT THEY WILL LEARN

These programs are designed to support young people to learn how to improve their confidence and self-esteem, build inner strength and self-belief, grow friendships, improve their health and self-image as well as learn and develop strategies to manage stress, change and have the tools for living a healthy, happy and inspired life.

The program is unique and designed to help educate, motivate and inspire boys and girls to live their best life.

We work with trained facilitators to bring this inspirational program to the community in a safe, nurturing and non-clinical space. The core focus for the Standing Strong® Program is based on 3 pillars of strength including:
